1, The material

The heavy-load conveyor belt is made of rubber and has a large smell. It is easy to produce toxic gas and is suitable for conveying ore and sand.

Light-carry conveyor belts are generally made of PVC, PU, silica gel, Teflon, etc. The material itself is non-toxic and tasteless and can be in direct contact with the conveyed material. To enhance certain properties, a recipe is changed.

2, The thickness

Lightweight conveyor belts come in a variety of thicknesses, from the thinnest 0.1mm to the thickest 10mm, depending on the size of the conveyor drum, the right conveyor belt.

The thickness of heavy conveyor belts is generally thick and heavy at 7mm or more.

3, application environment

The light-load PU/PVC conveyor belt is suitable for indoor use.According to the different conveying temperature, the formula can be changed to produce cold-resistant conveyor belt or high-temperature conveyor belt.

The heavy-load rubber belt is stable in formulation and is generally used for outdoor transportation to adapt to harsh environments.

4, The pattern

Heavy-load rubber conveyor belt patterns are relatively small, mainly in herringbone pattern, grass pattern, plane, suitable for harsh environments such as mountain blasting.

Light- load conveyor belts, there are many types of patterns, such as grass, diamond, one-line, cloth, square, etc., depending on the transport environment, choose different patterns.

Lightweight conveyor belts are mainly used in material conveying systems, like food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, printing, wood, textile, packaging, ceramic stone, electronics and so on

Heavy-load conveyor belts are mainly used in mines, ports, power plants, cement plants, steel plants, granaries and other conveying systems which with heavy loading and high strength requirements.
